Ideal Water Temperature : 

Boiling water temperature 100°C is ideal. It preserves Yashixiang oolong Tea's delicate floral aroma while allowing the leaves to fully open and release their smooth honey sweetness

 

How to Brew & Enjoy:

Ideal Brewing Method | GongFu Style (the traditional method recommended for best flavour, using a clay teapot or Gaiwan) 

  • Warm up the teaware with boiling hot water
  • Use 5-6 gram tea for a 100-120 ml gaiwan or clay teapot
  • Use boiling hot water 100°C to quicky rinse the tea leaves,  it opens up the tea leaves and awaken the aroma. (1- 2 seconds)
  • Infusions and Steeping time
    • 3-5 seconds for the first 3-4 infusions
    • add a couple of seconds to each following infusions
    • It can easily go up to 8-10 infusions

This method highlights the tea's layered floral fragrance, mineral sweetness and silky texture. You will enjoy the different taste in each infusions.

Easy Daily Method

    • use around 2 gram per 250ml cup
    • Preferred water temperature 98-100°C 
    • Steeping time : 
      • First Infusion: 2-3 minutes
      • Second Infusion: 3-4 minutes
      • can go up to 3-4 infusions but the taste might get lighter and mellow.

    This method produces a smooth, relaxing cup with gentle floral and a refreshing finish. Great for work and wellness routine.

    Storage: Keep it in a tight container in a cool place avoid lights and heats. The longer time from harvest, the smoother and sweeter taste but less floral fragrance.
